Great success - and more to come !
We did our first Exeter Vegan Market at Exeter Corn Exchange last weekend.
Hosted by Exeter Friends for Animals [www.effauk.org] it was a great success.
We didn't know what to expect - but it was rammed and really busy right from the doors opening. If you are vegan, or curious, try to make the next one :)
We will be there again on July 15th - and there are a few more through the summer - so stay tuned.
We decided to focus on proper 'take-away' food for this one. So, Hot Panini and filled Baguettes were the order of the day.
The panini flew out - we sold out of our famous breakfast special (Smoky Aubergine Bacon, Sausage, Mushroom & Tomato) very quickly (so make sure you get an early order in if you missed out this time) and the other fillings went almost as quickly.
White or wholemeal panini: Mama's Mega 'meatball' Marinara, Harissa Roasted Veg, & Green Griller (Pesto, Avocado, Spinach & 'mozzarella').
Artisan filled Barra Gallega: Coronation Cauliflower, Chuna Salad, Beetroot Special (Beetroot, Beetroot falafel & Carrot) & Wonderful Waldorf (Grated 'cheese' Apple, Celery & Walnut).
The Really Good Food Girls were kept mental busy but happy with a thoroughly nice day.
Well done everyone involved and we look forward to the next one on July 15.
